Authorized by the Salvadoran website registrar, we guide you through the application process and also provide you with the necessary nameserver information needed for your application. .edu.sv, .com.sv, .gob.sv, .org.sv and .red.sv are registered here. Names considered offensive or against the principles of Internet will be subject to questioning and discussion with the applying entity. The name of the sub-domain must not refer to official aspects or topics of the country without due authorization. The names that represent a concept within Internet and/or that may confuse or mislead users, such as "Internet", "InterNIC", "IANA", etc., will not be admitted. In case of a dispute between applying entities about the rights of a particular name, SVNet does not hold any liability by registering it, and will only provide information to both parties, so that they may reach an agreement. Moreover, local presence is not required but the administrative contact must reside in El Salvador. The domain registration fee is $150 for two years, which is inclusive of the application fee but the maintenance charges will vary.
